Hephzibah farmer grows family of sweet potatoes

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – If you’re a human, your family may include other humans, maybe a dog or a cat.

Joseph Doyle from Hephzibah has a family of sweet potatoes.

“This is a loving family, and these are my children,” he said.

Doyle loves each and every one of his ‘kids.’ He has portraits of all of them, and he says they’re all special, with many having unique shapes and sizes.

“I grew up in a farm down in Burke County. My family has a farm down in Burke County, so I’ve been farming all my life,” said Doyle.
